Employees may avail of the allowance for soft furnishings from the company. The specified amount for soft furnishing is maintained in the range of Rs 10,000 to Rs 60,000 per annum, depending on the seniority of the employee. If the cost of the furnishing goes up to Rs 1,20,000, in that case, 50% of the cost of the furnishings may be borne by the organization. (The life of the soft furnishing is assumed to be two years.)
Under this clause, the company allows a sum up to Rs 60,000 annually for the replacement of soft furnishings on the basis of an application from the Executive that states that such soft furnishings require replacement. The employer may otherwise choose to reimburse the amount each year for the replacement of soft furnishing.
